Old Hawaii Sugarcane Plantations Are An Adventure!

Old Hawaii Sugarcane PlantationsWhen it comes to activities in Hawaii – I know that we already talked about tubing, but to be honest, there is one thing that we did not touch on and that is the Old Hawaii Sugarcane Plantations.  Back in the turn-of-the-century, the majority of the irrigation ditches that were used to distribute water to the sugarcane fields were built by hand.  The laborers actually had to work 12 hour days for very little money and while the sugar cane fields are gone now, the ditches are still there and they are so much fun for tubing!

Tubing in Hawaii – as mentioned in the previous post is by far the best, the best part of Hawaii and floating through these beautiful ditches is something that everyone in the world should experience.  Whether you are looking to actually tube and float, or you want to bring your boat down and move through the water that way.

No matter how you float down these ditches, they are a beautiful sight to see and something that you should experience!
